Winter

It's definitely winter in Aspen

I can feel the cold creeping in today. It's the wet, bone chilling kind of cold. Refreshing, and a good excuse to stay inside drinking my favorite new hot cocoa mix I found. It's Green & Black's Organic Hot Chocolate Mix. Luckily a have a brief moment to myself today to catch my breath. Wylder's at tot time for an hour or so. My plan is to curl up on the couch with a good book and unwind from this crazy week I've had. I'm running out of good book suggestions!
Tips are welcome.

Easily the Best Book Ever Written

Glass Castle; by Jeantte Walls

This is my favorite book I've ever read. For one, you have a hard time believing that these stories could be true. But, they are and that's why you love them. Anyone who ever grew up with a slightly dysfunctional home can relate to the ludicrousness of Jeanette's tales.
“Sometimes you need a little crisis to get your adrenaline flowing and help you realize your potential.”
There are so many good quotes in this book. This one spoke to me because I think everyone experiences those times in your life when things quickly unravel into shit and you have to get a plan together right quick. Sometimes when everything falls apart, or your scared those moments breed creative bursts or breakthroughs.
I hope everyone gets a chance to read this book. Tell me your thoughts!

Baby Wylder

-I can't believe he's walking now-

It felt like yesterday when I first watched him roll onto his tummy. Now he's 11 months old and just finding his legs! I feel so lucky to have a healthy & happy baby boy.
